Gaining Weight & Changing Color

Angus has grown to be a pretty big cat already.  According to our bathroom scale, he is 15.2 lbs.  We might have to start managing his diet (don't want him to be overweight).  He's also developing some light brown tint around his belly and on his face.  Not sure what's going on there....

Introducing: Angus Henry

We rescued our new kitty from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley on July 6. He was approximately 2.5 months and weighed 3.25 lbs. He was named Henry by the shelter, so we kept it as his middle name and decided to name him Angus as a tribute to our beloved Kobe. Angus is really good at being cute!

It's so hard to say goodbye.

Our beloved Kobe passed away on February 4, 2010 of a heart attack. We were devastated by the sudden loss and miss him terribly. We will forever cherish the joy he brought into our lives for the 6.5 years he was with us.

Shadow's Back

The neighborhood cat, Shadow, came by and peeked into our house. Shadow also spent some time lounging around on our front door mat. Kobe got a bit territorial.
